Public Utilities Services is the city’s own service provider that constructs streets and parks, manages and upholds city-owned buildings, streets and parks, and keeps the city clean. The Section is also responsible for fire and rescue services as well as the catering services of schools, day care centres and nursing homes. Its daily tasks are carried out by about 2 500 professionals.
