The Espoo Sports and Exercise Services maintains about 200 km of ski tracks of which about 60 km are illuminated (lit from 6.00 am to about 10.00 pm). Ski tracks are maintained so that the primary focus is on the trails in Oittaa, Leppävaara and Central Park. After snowfall, all tracks will be cleared and available to skiers within 1–3 days.
The conditions of ski tracks are updated into the map service as the maintenance personnel create the trail. The colour of the ski trail on the map indicates the condition of the tracks. The date indicates when the tracks were last maintained or when their condition was updated.
In addition, the service also contains basic information about ski tracks, such as their length, lighting and skiing style.
The system includes all the fitness trails and the most popular ski tracks, i.e. the majority of the 200 km of ski tracks maintained by the city.
