The objective of the Youth Services is to improve the living conditions of youth, socially strengthen youth, to support their growth and to create preconditions for civic activity.
The goal is also to support the development of self-esteem and to increase the possibilities for young people to take part. The target groups of the Youth Services are subteens, youth and parents of youth as well as youth organisations and youth groups.
The youth committee grants allowances at its discretion for youth activity of youth associations, youth organisations and youth activity groups in Espoo. Activities must be directed at the use of free time of youth under twenty-nine years of age.
